Georgia Tech Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium
Tuesday, November 17
9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Moving from Automation to Autonomy.
Manufacturers are rapidly advancing beyond automated processes toward intelligent, connected systems capable of decision-making, optimization, and adaptive control. This day will bring together leaders, researchers, and technology innovators to explore how emerging technologies are helping organizations accelerate productivity, strengthen resilience, and create smarter operations. Parallels to the self-driving/autonomous laboratory efforts that are underway through the government-driven Genesis Mission and Programmable Cloud Laboratories agendas will provide further insight into real-world applications, collaborative opportunities, and the future of autonomous manufacturing systems.
2026 Internet of Things for Manufacturing (IoTfM) Symposium
Wednesday, November 18
8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Delivering Results through Digital Innovation.
The Internet of Things for Manufacturing (IoTfM) is transforming how manufacturers connect equipment, collect and use data, and improve operations. Hear from industry experts as they share real-world IoTfM use cases, including what worked, what didn’t, and lessons learned along the way. Speakers will discuss practical approaches to implementation, the role of standards in enabling connectivity and interoperability, and where they see IoTfM and the manufacturing industry heading next. The symposium also provides an opportunity to connect with others in the manufacturing community, exchange ideas and experiences, and learn from organizations addressing similar challenges.
